Golf · Fancourt Estate
Six championship rounds, based entirely at one of the world's leading golf estates
Three moments define this journey: The Links at Fancourt, golf above the Indian Ocean at Pinnacle Point, and the ease of having Fancourt as your base throughout.

A wine-paired chef's menu at Henry White's, one of the standout dining experiences at Fancourt. An evening of considered food, exceptional South African wines and unhurried service — the perfect complement to a hotel designed around the complete golf experience, with its spa, practice facilities, clubhouse, restaurants and leisure spaces all on hand throughout your stay.

Golf on the cliffs above the Indian Ocean, with seven holes following the coastline and four played directly over ocean and rock. It is a very different proposition from Fancourt — and one of the week's defining rounds.

Wind, firm-running fairways and championship golf in the foothills of the Outeniqua Mountains. Gary Player's celebrated links-style design is the natural climax to the week — best played once the group has found its rhythm.
Six rounds built around Fancourt as home, golf from the afternoon you arrive to the morning you leave.

| 4 | Fancourt Montagu The most demanding of Fancourt's three courses, Montagu rewards precision over power. One estate, at the centre of the golf for the entire stay.

The five-star hotel at the centre of a 1,500-acre estate, with three championship courses, the spa and the indoor pool a short walk from the door — home for the entire stay, with Simola, Pinnacle Point and Pezula all comfortably reached and returned from in a day.

A wide range of restaurants to choose from across the estate, alongside the spa and a full calendar of off-the-course experiences. The complete range can be selected from www.fancourt.co.za.
Six rounds, six different tests — three on one estate, deliberately different from each other, then three more reached easily on day trips.

The more open of Fancourt's two parkland courses, laid out across gently rolling ground beneath the Outeniqua Mountains, with mature trees, wetland and indigenous fynbos drawing a striking variety of birdlife across the round. The fairways run wide and forgiving, but the greens are well contoured and demand a precise approach. Kept in the same exacting condition as the rest of the estate, it plays firm and true year-round — a course that asks real questions without ever feeling severe.

Only the third Jack Nicklaus Signature course built in South Africa, and the first on the Garden Route. The routing follows the natural fall of the land below the ridgeline, sheltered from the coastal wind, with an unusual five par-5s and five par-3s giving the round its own rhythm and testing every club in the bag. A complete change of character from Fancourt's parkland golf, and one of the most distinctive rounds of the week.

A stunning design etched into the cliffs above the Indian Ocean — seven holes run the clifftop, four of them played directly over ocean and rock. Named South Africa's Best Golf Course at the World Golf Awards in 2016 and 2017. The Clubhouse, perched above the cliffs, is the perfect place for a long, relaxed lunch with the group once the round is done, looking straight out over the water.

The most demanding of Fancourt's three courses — narrower, more tightly bunkered and threaded through mature forest that puts a premium on accuracy from the tee. The greens are among the most contoured on the estate, well protected and quick to expose anything but a precise approach. A serious test of course management as much as ball-striking, and, for those who know Fancourt well, often considered its most complete round.

Built on the cliffs of the East Knysna Head, running like a green ribbon through the fynbos above the lagoon and the sea. The front nine plays across sweeping lagoon views before the back nine descends toward the cliffs and the Indian Ocean — on such steep, sensitive terrain, the routing was built to keep the group climbing on only three holes all day. A dramatic, big-view round, and one of the most photographed courses on the Garden Route.

Wind, firm-running fairways and championship golf in the foothills of the Outeniqua Mountains. Widely regarded as Gary Player's masterpiece and ranked number one in South Africa, this celebrated links-style design is the natural climax to the week — best played once the group has found its rhythm.
A gracious base by day, and a proper night out on your one evening away from the estate.

Set at the foot of the Outeniqua Mountains, George is a handsome, well-heeled town with a dining and bar scene that punches well above its size — a genuine draw in its own right, not simply an airport with a name attached. Independent restaurants, wine bars and late-night spots sit within a few minutes of one another, giving the group a proper change of scene for one evening: a different room, a different crowd, a different kind of fun, before returning to the quiet of the estate. Fancourt's own championship courses are a short drive away — your base for the entire stay, with the town itself very much part of the week.
Based at Fancourt throughout, with day trips west to Mossel Bay and east to Knysna for golf.
